Wear Resistance
The inner ceramic layer of ceramic-lined composite steel pipe contains more than 90% Al₂O₃, with a microhardness of HV 600–1000 and a density of 3.8–3.97 g/cm³.
It features extremely high wear resistance, which is about ten times higher than quenched medium carbon steel and superior to tungsten carbide hard alloy.

Corrosion Resistance
Ceramic is a neutral material with stable chemical properties, excellent corrosion resistance and acid resistance.
It can resist various inorganic acids, organic acids, organic solvents, etc., and its corrosion resistance is more than ten times that of stainless steel.

Heat Resistance
The ceramic layer is dense corundum with a linear expansion coefficient of 6–8×10⁻⁶/°C.
It has outstanding heat resistance, able to withstand temperatures above 2000°C, and can operate continuously in the range of −50°C to 900°C.

Mechanical Properties
It has excellent mechanical properties:
- Crushing strength: 300–600 MPa
- Compressive shear strength: 20–30 MPa
No obvious cracks appear after 15 times of mechanical impact test under 50 t energy.

Good Weldability
Ceramic-lined composite steel pipe can be connected by welding the outer steel pipe.

Easy Transportation and Installation
Compared with steel pipes, wear-resistant alloy cast pipes, cast iron pipes and cast stone pipes, ceramic-lined composite steel pipe is lighter in weight and easier to transport and install.
It can be connected by welding, flanges, flexible quick connectors and other methods, making installation very convenient.
Due to its excellent comprehensive performance, ceramic-lined composite steel pipe is widely used in pipelines for thermal power, iron and steel, non-ferrous metals, mining, coal, chemical industry, petrochemical industry and other industries.
